GRATEFUL for the New Year!

As 2006 comes to a grateful end, I say 'grateful' because for those of us enduring life-threatening hardships & hurts, betrayals & upheavals - some only known to Jesus, others being of 'public' display - we are Grateful for its end. In fact, we've prayed for its end!
I concede that for some, 2006 has been a good year, for others a very good year. And to God we are Thankful for this, even in the midst of our pain, we are mindful that as part of the Body, we must Rejoice in the Abundance of others, even if they know nothing of our lack, and trials, and pain. We take Comfort in knowing that as long as our Savior knows, and feels, and is touched - it is enough. Otherwise, how could we call ourselves Believers if we thought, acted, and reacted as the world does when trials do come?
So, now we look forward with Hope, and Faith, and Confidence that this new year, will truly be a 'new year', for us - as Believer's we did not go through, no the word is 'endure', the last 365 days for nothing! Even though we've come out with wounded spirits, shattered dreams, and broken promises (man's), we carry much more Priceless merchandise than those who have not struggled, nor hurt, nor lost, nor loved, nor cried, nor endured.
